Top Four Bread and Breakfasts in America

The perks of staying at a luxury resort or up-scale hotels are unmatchable, but the stays at an antiquated and opulent bed and breakfast (B&B) can be exceedingly relaxing and cozy. Though the luxury and amenities may be different for every B&B, there are still quite a few scattered all around the country who excel at providing ease and comfort. From scrumptious breakfasts to enchanted views and well-equipped rooms they uphold the property’s historic elegance.

I have always preferred staying at these inns as they form a special connection with nature and the astounding surroundings. Although many bread and breakfasts have completely intrigued me while the stay but here are the top four that excelled at every level.

Cedar House Inn

An exquisite Victorian home built in 1893, Cedar House Inn offers warm and cozy eight guestrooms. The inn is an absolute pleasure to stay. With its refined pine wood floors, the luxurious rooms are well-equipped with the aesthetics and finesse of old Florida. Located on a silent, green street in the hub of the historic district, the inn is at some minutes distance from the local museums, shopping arenas, restaurants and other fascinating views that are perfect for a romantic retreat to St. Augustine.

The amenities the inn provides in the guestrooms are, king or queen beds, private bath with jacuzzi or walk-in shower, flat screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, bathrobes, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. Moreover, the special two-course gourmet is served on the individual tables in the dining room. You can also enjoy wine, bottled water, soft drinks and freshly baked goodies to take along on your expeditions. The inn also offers a game room with chess, puzzles and other board games for those long unperturbed evenings.

The Welsh Hills Inn

Another captivating country home, the Welsh Hills Inn is located in Ohio enclosed by alpaca farms and horse country. If you are looking for a flawless destination for a romantic stay, this “The” place. The inn redefines the meaning of a relaxing stay and takes the opulence to another level with their wonderful amenities available in the room to the warm pool and courtyard gardens.

The spacious bedrooms are decorated with high-class bedding with the facility of allergy free linen upon request. Bathrooms are stocked with thick, supple and absorbent towels. Not only a heated pool with outdoor music is available to make your stay memorable but you can also relish the gorgeous gardens and countryside.

You can spend the evenings either staying in the room watching TV with the latest channels, browsing through the internet with free Wi-Fi available both indoors and outdoors or have a relaxing massage at the spa.

Abington Green

A glorious and sensational Diamond Collection Inn was designed by Biltmore Estate’s architect in 1908. The lavish inn offers nine spacious and opulent rooms equipped with high definition TV, Wi-Fi services, luxurious bedding, and lavish toiletries. The expansive porch area offers breathtakingly countrified gardens for calm evenings. The greenhouse provides fresh herbs for preparing the mouth-watering multi-course breakfast. Inclusive of a comprehensive spa, Abington green is the most extravagant place I have come across.

Savannah Bread and Breakfast

Built in 1853, Savannah Bed and Breakfast is located in the southern end of the Savannah. Lavishly designed fifteen rooms are furnished with luxury beds, oriental carpets and stacks of books. The bathrooms are modern and well-stocked with absorbent and soft towels accompanied with deluxe toiletries.

The B&B has the most delicious multi-course breakfast that is served in the parlour on family-style dining tables. The breakfast serves as the perfect occasion to know other guests. Moreover, afternoon tea and bedtime milk and freshly baked chocolate chip cookie servings are the impeccable nibbles throughout the day.
